Fuel your body with what it’s designed for!

Your body is designed to eat food that grows, the more organic the better. Many foods have manufactured ingredients that are not designed for your body and can cause problems with repeated consumption such as increased pain and inflammation with too much sugar.

However, most of us find it difficult to say no to junk food, there’s always something that we just can’t resist. If you're not giving your body the right fuel, then it will not perform properly and different parts will gradually decline in function causing disease. It goes without saying that a healthy balanced diet is good for us, but it’s not always easy to stick to.

To help keep you on track (and out of the biscuit tin), we thought we’d share our 3 top tips to eat healthy:

  1. Check the ingredients on the package, can, box etc. If there are more than 5 ingredients listed and you can’t pronounce them, don’t eat it!

  2. You don’t have to eat less, you just have to eat right. Eating less is not going to make you healthy, choose nutritious foods such as fruits or vegetables of a variety of colours (especially green) and practice portion control.

  3. “If you keep good food in your fridge, you will eat good food.” – Errick McAdams. matter how much self control you have, if your favourite treats are stashed in your fridge or cupboards, you will end up eating them, so restock these with healthy snacks instead.
